UNIDENTIFIED

Last updated May 21, 2008

This page contains photos of people who have not been identified (or are named, but the name has no meaning to us). There are many more photos to add. The more recently added photos will always be at the beginning of the gallery if you revisit it, and the dates of updating will be listed at the top so you can tell if it has changed since your last visit. It is broken into two sections, the single individual/smaller group shots in the first section, and the large parties in Gallery Two. Shots from the first gallery usually only occur on this page, whereas shots from Gallery Two are on the pages of the people who have been identified.

This photo is on the kind of thin paper that indicates it was very early home photography, thus the very casual pose and overexposure

Same group, children still overexposed

about 2 inches square, stamped "Novelty Photo Co, Jackson MI" and says on back, "Merry Xmas from Bertha."

same as previous but says on back, "Merry Xmas from Pearl."

Toddler on left looks like it could be Edward Wachdorf Sr as a child, with perhaps a cousin? Perhaps Falkenthal? Or they could be girls. Who knows?

WWI uniform

Same fellow as last shot, bookmark size photo

found among the Wachdorf photos belonging to one of Joe Wachdorf's daughters

another from collection of Joe Wachdorf's daughter

labeled Annie/Amie Mulvey?

11x14 original with corner embossed "Marchand at the Fair."

possibly Marie Pfleger Traut? Can anyone verify or dispute this?

cabinet photo that may be Irene Pfleger Wachdorf as a child, except it is a St. Louis Photographer and she lived in Jackson, MI and Chicago, IL

Confirmation photo, perhaps Dell Pfleger Wachdorf?

one of Oscar Pfleger's sons?

matches a shot of Oscar Pfleger. Could this be Eleanor?

matches shots of wedding of Louis Pfleger (son of Oscar) but who are they?

Looks like Mae Wachdorf but don't think she would still have looked so young when this fashion arrived

Signed "Lovingly Leone 1934," but not Brennan or Pfleger

inclined to guess this is Hilda Grimm Diver Forney, or her sister

dark hair with back to the camera could be Irene Pfleger Wachdorf

maybe Louis Grimm and Lillian Sharp Grimm?

I have placed this on the page for Louis Grimm Jr but am not at all sure

1945 Effingham IL, Harry Wachdorf and unknown woman

same date, same place, same man, two unknown women
