c. 1943 wedding of Louise's son, George. Bookend groomsmen are Wachdorf, other groomsman and bridesmaids unknown, could be Lift kin

In the 1920 census on 7929 Harvard Ave. Henry Pfleger and Louise Lift Pfleger (and 8-year-old son George) also have in the house George J. Lift, 28, and wife Hellen (born in Illinois), age 26. George Lift, like Henry Pfleger, lists his occupation as optician.

1930 census, 5832 Wells St.: George J. Lift, 38, married at 25, an optician for optical bus., with wife Helen, 37, married at 24, and son Robert J. Lift, 9, born in IL.

Lastly, the Social Security Death index has a George Lift, born 11-4-1890 (according to the 1900 census, George was born Nov. 1890, so that's a match) and died in Feb. 1977, whose last residence was Maywood, IL. Again, could be the right George Lift, but maybe not.
