Crockett County marriage records show a Lela "Rosmon" marrying Erby Wallis on 7-26-1912. According to a post on Rootsweb, they divorced in the 1930s (source quoted further down this page).

Lela Mae was the daughter of Robert Lee and Sarah King Rosamond. Bill Porter was the son of Charles C. Porter and Tennie C. MacMillian."

11-11-1955 (source Jackie Utley again): Alton Evening Telegraph (Alton, IL): In loving memory of Mrs. Lela Porter--Mrs. Lela Mae Porter, 60, wife of E.E. Porter of Brighton, Rt. 1, died Thursday at 10:15 p.m. in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO, where she had been a patient for ten weeks. Mrs. Porter was born May 27, 1895 in Gadsden, TN. She had resided at the farm home south of Brighton for the past few years, and previously at Godfrey. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters and a son, all of Tennessee; a brother, three sisters, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. The body will be sent to Alamo, TN, to Ronk Funeral Home for funeral rites, probably Sunday.

He was born in Humboldt, TN on may 14 1889 and died April 15, 1954, and is buried in Mount Zion Cemetery, Friendship, TN. Lela Mae was born in Gadsden, TN on May 27, 1895 and died Nov. 13, 1955 and is bured at Cypress Cemetery Alamo TN. They were married June 1912. They divorced in 1930's." Another photo, same source, bears caption, "These are my parents. Perry Laster Wallis Sr. born Gadsden TN Jan. 20, 1920. He was the son of Arthur Erby Wallis and Lela Mae Rosamon Wallis. Mildred "Juanita" (Lloyd) Wallis born in Memphis TN Aug. 21, 1927. They married Dec. 19, 1942 in DeSoto County, MS... He died November 23, 1972, in Salinas, Monterey County, CA and is buried in the The Garden of Memories Cemetery, Salinas. She died Dec. 8 1999 in Miltonvale, Cloud County KS, and is buried in Oakland Union Cemetery, Miltonvale KS."
