Full information on how the Avery children were orphaned and raised by relatives is on the pages for their parents, but this note is added (received in 2007 from Patricia Bishop, granddaughter or Laura Loudora Avery Warmath): "I remember my mother, Aunt Dorothy, and Uncle Clinton (who were the three youngest of Sid and Laura) always telling the same story about their parents. Sid and Laura married without Sid's parents' approval. It was felt that Laura was a servant in the Warmath home...Sid also was disinherited by his family because he became a Baptist minister. My mom, Dorothy and Clinton all agreed that somewhere in the Warmath family history they were related to the Rockefellas. To date I have not made that connection..."

Albert S. Warmath, age 40, born in TN of parents born in TN, m1 for 18 years, occupation: dairyman.

Wife Laura L, age 40, mother of 8 of whom 6 are living.

Daughter Flora D, age 16.

Son Roy A, age 15.

Daughter Laura B, age 8.

Daughter Sidney F, age 8 months.

Boarder William Morgan, age 60, white, born in TN of parents born in NC, farmer--working out.

10-16-1913 Tri-County News (Crockett County), Thursday: "Mrs. A.S. Warmath of Jackson visited her brother T.G. Avery and family last week, returning home Sunday. Her husband came over Sunday and returned home with her."

1920 census, Tippah County MS, beat one:

Sid Warmath, age 49, born in TN but this time mistakenly his father is listed as from NC, farmer.

Wife Laura, age 49.

Daughter Laura B, age 18.

Note regarding Tippah County, MS: Laura's cousin James R Rosamon (son of her mother's brother John Wesley Rosamon) with his wife and foster child lived in Ripley, MS, in Tippah County.

Harriet Della Warmath (Hefley) is listed only under her father, though she is also the daughter of Mary J. Rosamon (Warmath) in blue, making her the cousin of both Laura Avery and Sid Warmath.
