Tombstone at Mount Moriah for Hyman Hardison 8-25-1852 to 2-1-1919. 1860 census JH age 8. 1870 census lists both a Jr. age 17 and a Jessie age 16. Either could be him. 1880 census Jessie age 26. 1900 census (Alonzo Edwin listed as head of household, Jessie listed as brother) Jessie H born Feb 1853 (off on both). 1910 census still in Alonzo's household, Jessie H. age 49.

In the census he is repeatedly referred to as Jessie H, but his niece, Mary Lou, referred to him as Uncle Hym.
