*Margaret Letsinger, daughter of Nancy, is listed on some internet family trees as married to Perry Hall. However, in the 1850 Carroll County TN census, she is listed living with her parents, and he is listed living already with wife Margaret with two children. It is possible she is mistakenly listed in two places at once, or Margaret Letsinger is not the same person as Margaret Hall.

The listing of US Veteran's Grave Sites shows Pvt Army US Civil War James H. Ledsinger death 2-9-1864 Memphis National Cemetery Section C, Site 2802. The Civil War Pension Index has a listing for James H. Ledsinger with mother Nancy A. Ledsinger applying for the pension.

The Civil War Pension Index also has George Ledsinger "alias Lewis" with widow Rebecca Ledsinger applying for the pension after his death 11-25-1908 (and it looks like he himself applied for the pension as an invalid, but the date is illegible). He also served on the Union side.
